Tonight I was playing around with the VSCO app on my iPad. I was inspired by a short video at Lynda.com, the “Photographer Mobile Weekly” by Sean Duggan. I haven’t looked at VSCO for quite some time. What else to do on a Monday night.
I made this photo on one of my cemetery walks; it was an overcast day. Yes, I have a thing for cemeteries. This specific one is frequented by dog walkers, people walking through it to get from A to B, and other walkers without dogs or children just strolling around. It is quite nice. Peaceful.
I Processed this Magnolia image with the VSCO app. I tweaked exposure, highlights, and shadows, just a bit. For the final treatment, I applied the g2 preset. I like the colors the g2 preset produced; it created an interesting mood.
Adding a new post with the iPad is a first for me. While it is, of course, possible, it is a bit annoying when the keyboard moves up, and the text area you want to look at is out of view.
